The admission age for Upper Kindergarten Programme is between 4.5- 5.5 years. This level is a stepping stone to a formal schooling of the child. The senior kindergarten program aims at increasing the language and mathematical skills. They learn addition, subtraction, ascending and descending orders, and they also learn about ordinal and cardinal numbers. This program helps them to lead a smooth transition to a higher level. The curriculum emphasizes on building vocabulary as well as application of concepts learnt in previous classes. The main focus of this program is to develop self- confidence and thereby providing a sound foundation for life. The child eventually learns to work independently as well as play co-operatively with others.
